Live in Caregivers can provide invaluable personal support either on a temporary or long term basis. This allows the elderly to be able to live safely and comfortably at home. The Live in Caregiver usually assists with most personal needs, takes care of the household chores and often provides company. The family usually does not have to worry about their loved one because he/she is in safe hands. Some families prefer to have Live in Caregivers for a few days to weeks to get a break from the daily responsibility and chores of providing 24/7 hour support. Often short term Live in Care is useful to assist some one recover after surgery. For those individuals who have no family members nearby, long-term Live in Care is a great solution. This will enable them to remain independent for some time. In other cases, Live in Care is required when a family member is in the terminal stages and only requires basic comfort and care.
